The Odyssey controversy continues.

Why can’t people just accept that trying to convert an EPIC poem in today’s world was never going to work?

Unless it was created by a literate Greek producer wishing to retain some semblance of culture.

Then we could say it was okay to slaughter 12,000 lines of poetry. But who cares about poetry?

It’s just made up stuff by weirdos.

Can we just let the critiques rest until the Nolanesque version hits the big screen and makes $100 mil.

That’s the true test of success.
